About Adult Fitness

Adult Fitness Class is a self-controlled intensity/full-body workout. Meaning you set the pace on what you want to do the class at for intensity. Each person controls the amount of weight used on various lifts. The instructor controls the sets/reps during that month period. These sets/reps are manipulated each week. You will never walk into this class and get the same workout during the week if you come all three times. You can say this class uses “Muscle Confusion” (P-90X) to burn calories. The class goes through an extensive dynamic warm-up, then into light to moderate controlled plyometrics (getting the heart rate up), and then into all free weight exercises using dumbbells, barbells, stability balls, Bosu balls and resistant bands to burn up to 800 calories!!! There is no class like this in Northern Iowa and puts P-90X to shame!

About Cardio

Like to sweat? Like to meet new people? Like to have fun? Then Cardio class is the place for you!! You will sweat during intense aerobic workouts including intervals on the treadmill or elliptical, kickboxing, circuit training, core training and much more. You will meet new people motivated to stay fit and healthy like you. And most of all you will have fun while reaping the benefits of an aerobic workout. Come join us on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings to start your day off right.

About Our Toning Class

This class is great for ALL levels of fitness! It’s perfect for beginners to exercise or for the exerciser that needs to add a change to their regular workout and it’s for anyone who wants to firm and tone up. Body Sculpting is a non-aerobic, muscle-toning class, usually focused on overall total body and core strength. We perform a number of weight trainig moves that target all parts of the body! We use a variety of equipment including barbells, dumbbells, exercise bands, BOSU, stability, and medicine ball or combination of the above. Each class will target different muscle groups providing you with workouts that will help you strengthen and tone your entire body!
